Every camper and staff member must have some form of Covid-19 related test (before coming to camp) utilizing the following options. These tests can be arranged by contacting your local medical center and are usually being done at no cost. 1) Every camper and staff member can take an antibody test for Covid-19 before coming to camp. If she already took the test and had a positive result, no further testing is needed. If she has not taken this test, she has the option to take this test before camp, provided there will be enough time before camp starts to receive the results and those results must be emailed to us at GSandler@CGIPoconos.org before camp and no later then 12 noon on Monday, June 28, 2021.  If she gets a positive result, she does not need to do any further testing for Covid-19. 2) Those who tested negative for the antibody test or do not wish to take that test or do not have the ability to take the test, will be required to take the PCR Covid-19 test administered within 1 week before camp starts, and have a negative result and those results must be emailed to our office at GSandler@CGIPoconos.org before camp and no later then 12 noon on Monday, June 28, 2021. 3) In the event that she has a positive result to the regular Covid-19 test, your child will need to remain at home until she gets a negative Covid-19 test result. The negative results must be emailed to our office at GSandler@CGIPoconos.org before she comes to camp and you will need to contact the camp director to make arrangements as to when your child can be brought to camp. Every camper and staff member will be fever scanned upon arriving in camp. We will also need parents to certify on the first day of camp that their child has not had any fever or other Covid-19 within the 14 days preceding the departure to camp. We will have an ongoing daily health monitoring program in place during camp. We very much appreciate your cooperation and are sure that with G-d’s help, we will have a healthy summer together.
