4-TIER PRICING PROGRAM
Realizing that families have differing abilities to pay, CGIP has instituted a voluntary 4-tier pricing program. Please take a moment to look at the following tier descriptions and choose the tier that is most suitable for your family. All children will have the same experience no matter which tier a family is able to pay. The tier selected by a family will be kept confidential.
Tier 1
is based on the full cost of campers participating in the selected session. If you are able to pay this amount, please do so. Thank you!
Tier 2
Tier 3
Tier 4
Please see below for multiple first-time camper grants & scholarship opportunities

Session F – July 1 to July 28
(4 weeks)
A $200 (per 2-week session of camp) deposit payable by check or credit card is required with each camper’s application. If this deposit amount presents an obstacle, please call us at 845.425.0903 to discuss.
CGI requires a $200 deposit for the 2 week session or $400 deposit for the 4 week session to hold a place for your camper. Should you change your mind, for any reason, prior to May 1, 2025, we will refund all funds paid to CGI less $200 to cover administrative costs. After May 1, 2025, no refunds can be provided upon cancellation.
For families requesting financial assistance, if sufficient financial assistance is not awarded, CGI will refund 100% of your deposit, provided that you inform us in writing or via e-mail prior to May 1, 2025 that your camper will not be attending CGI.
After the first child pays full tuition, each sibling who enrolls shall receive a 10% off their tuition reduction. (Note: Discount not applicable if receiving a CGI Scholarship.)
Full payment is due by May 1, 2024. Customized payment plans are available on request; please call us at 845.425.0903 Ext.2 to discuss.
One Happy Camper Grant: CGI Poconos is proud to be a participant in the One Happy Camper grant program. That means qualifying campers will be eligible for a grant of $700 towards a 2 week session and $1,000 towards a 3 week or longer session. One happy camper grant eligibility:
- First time overnight camper, i.e., has not attended a Jewish overnight camp for 12-consecutive-day or 19-consecutive-day respectively.
- Does not currently attend a Jewish day school.
- Is enrolled at Camp Gan Israel for at least one 2 or 3 week session respectively.
Applicants for a One Happy Camper grant who live non-participating geographic areas and are PJ Library participants may be eligible for a grant of $1,000. After you register for CGI in the Poconos, sign on to OneHappyCamper.org and apply for this grant! (Note: Please call 845.425.0903 if you have any questions.)
At CGI Poconos, our goal is to offer your child a unique camping experience. We strive to make our program affordable and available for every child who wishes to participate. Our Financial Aid program provides assistance to families that are unable to pay the full tuition. The amount awarded is determined on the basis of need and the availability of funds.
Please note that CGI in the Poconos’ Financial Aid Applications will not be considered without the deposit, which is fully refundable if CGI in the Poconos is unable to provide sufficient aid to facilitate attendance. If the deposit itself creates an obstacle, please call us at 845.425.0903 to discuss. To apply for aid, please follow these easy steps:
- Register for camp by completing the Enrollment Application.(attach the link)
- Check the box requesting the Financial Aid Application on the Enrollment Application.
- Pay the $200 deposit for the 2 week session or $400 deposit for the 4 week session via credit card or check (preferred).
Once CGI Poconos receives your Enrollment Application, the Financial Aid Application will be sent to you.
- Complete the online Financial Aid Application.
- Please also inform us of any other scholarships that you are applying for.
Things to know about financial aid:
- The deadline for the Financial Aid Application is March 31, 2024. Any Financial Aid Application received after March 31 will only be considered if scholarship funds are still available.
- The Financial Aid Application is not an application to enroll at CGI Poconos. You must first submit the CGI Poconos Enrollment Application, and you will then receive the Financial Aid Application.
- All financial information is kept strictly confidential.
- Our goal is to notify all applicants of the final status of their scholarship requests within 4 weeks of submitting your online application.
- If you do not receive enough financial aid, you can cancel your enrollment at CGI Poconos prior to May 1, 2024 and receive a total refund of all fees paid, including your deposit.
Interest-Free Payment Plans
CGI Poconos offers an interest-free payment plan payable by credit card. Simply check the “Payment Plan” box on the Enrollment Application, and we’ll contact you to arrange your payment plan.
Scholarships from Other Organizations
We encourage you to check with your synagogue, Jewish Family and Children’s Services, Jewish Federation, or other local agencies that might provide assistance to help make camp more affordable. Most scholarships and grants require you to first register for a session at CGI Poconos. Your deposit is refundable until May 1, 2024, for any reason, and is refundable after that date if camp is not possible for financial reasons.
Members of the PJ Library and residents of Washington, DC, Philadelphia, PA, and the state of Massachusetts, may be eligible for further incentive grants; please see the section above describing the One Happy Camper grants, and call us at 845.425.0903 for more information. Jewish Federations – Many local Jewish federations offer scholarship programs for Jewish camps. To find a Jewish Federation near you, click here.
