Nestled in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Pocono mountains, Log and Twig retreat offers a beautiful setting for schools, families, and communities seeking an overnight getaway. Very conveniently located only 70 miles (90 minutes) from New York city, our beautiful facility includes heated and air conditioned cabins, dining and recreation halls, swimming pool, private lake, sport fields and courts and campfire rings.
Guest will enjoy sports, including basketball, softball, volleyball, soccer and tennis, traditional campfires, hiking on our marked on-site trails, swimming in our beautiful pool and boating and fishing on our private lake.
We are open from April through October.
Accommodations:
15 Student Cabins, each with 6 bunkbeds (12 beds) and 2 staff beds, 2 bathrooms, 2 showers, and 2 sinks (5 of the cabins have an additional backroom for additional beds (staff/parent room).
Total student space can accommodate up to 180 students.
11 Family Apartments:
Apartment A1-A4 offers 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette and a full bathroom
Apartment B1 & B2 offers 3 bedrooms + kitchenette area
Apartments C1 & C2 offer 1 bedroom + kitchenette/common area and full bathroom (can be connected from the inside)
Apartment HQ has 3 bedrooms with 2 beds in each, 1 full bathroom, kitchen area and common area.
Buildings 9 & 13 are like Student Cabins but have 2 bedrooms, a common area with 2 bathrooms, showers, and sinks.
